About

I spent close to ten years in broadcast television before I wrote a line of production code, as a camera assistant and then operator. That background is part of why I care about shipping things that actually work under real conditions, not just in a demo.

What I've built

In my previous role, I built and shipped a range of production systems, including:

  • A multi-tenant registration and licensing platform for a motorsport governing body, with role-based access and a configurable payments fee engine.
  • A ticketing and point-of-sale platform running across multiple live venues, with Stripe, digital wallet, and dedicated card terminal integration, including allocated seating for large venues.
  • A booking and subscription app for a gym, handling class bookings and recurring memberships.
  • A tablet-based system for an education centre, migrated off an unsupported legacy stack onto one a full team could maintain.
  • Platform and database migrations across hosting providers, with measurable cost savings.
  • AI-assisted development workflows that changed where a small team's actual bottleneck sat.

What I'm looking for

A mid-level engineering role, Melbourne hybrid or remote, available now. Most of what I've shipped has been full stack, web and mobile, but I'm equally comfortable owning a backend system or a front-end build on its own. The range just means I can plug in wherever a team needs me.
